Jelly Square

One of my first paintings for the month of August is a simple little purple Jellyfish. It's on a scrap of square watercolor paper so hence the name. It's in my shop here.

It's been quite the month of summer vacation for my kids. A lot of boredom interspersed with brief activities ... too brief. Their boredom is cutting in to my creating time ... something we're working on.

The boys decided to build a lego baseball field and I (easily) convinced them to make it in to a dice game. They're playing it right now, its pretty simple, but they're enjoying it. If it keeps them busy for an hour I'm happy.
